I’m Matt, a 3-handicap golfer who was sick and tired of overpriced equipment. After having my clubs stolen twice, I assumed I needed to spend premium money to keep my game at a high level.

Then I tested a set of irons that cost just $400. To my surprise, they felt just as forgiving and the distances were on par with my TaylorMade P790s. That experience sent me down the rabbit hole of testing more cost-effective gear.
